Purchasing a new home is one of the biggest decisions and purchases you will make. Here at Ascot Homes we are committed to ensuring that all aspects of the buying journey is smooth and is an enjoyable experience.
VISIT THE DEVELOPMENT & SHOW HOME
Our Show Home is open every Saturday & Sunday 11am - 5pm. During your visit you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions to our Sales Manager Anna. Depending on the build stage, you may be able to look around the development and discuss the homes which are available to purchase. For all enquires call Anna on 07874 927281
RESERVATION
To reserve a home we require a Reservation Fee, once this has been paid the property will be taken off the market and the legal process for the purchase of your new home with begin. The Reservation fee will contribute towards the sale price and will be deducted from the outstanding balance on completion.
INSTRUCTING SOLICITORS AND ARRANGING FINANCES
You will need to instruct a Solicitor who will manage the purchase of your new home and advise you of all the legal steps you need to take. If you require a mortgage, you will need to make the relevant enquiries for a mortgage application directly through a lender or via a Mortgage Broker.
EXCHANGE OF CONTRACTS
Approximately 5-6 weeks after reservation and once everyone is satisfied with the legal matters, your solicitor will request that you transfer your deposit to them in readiness for exchange of contracts. You will also receive a legal report and contract to sign and be given either a fixed completion date or an anticipated legal completion date.
CHOICES & OPTIONS
You will be able to select your choices and options (subject to build stage) from an exclusive range that has been specially chosen for Ascot Homes. Our Sales Manager will be able to discuss all the choices and options that are available to you to personalise your new home.
HOME DEMONSTRATION
Approximately one week prior to completion you will be invited to attend a Home Demonstration. Our site manager and sales manager will walk you through your new home. They’ll show you how everything works and explain your warranty period, as well as answer any questions you may have.
COMPLETION & HANDOVER
When the property is finished and ready to move into, legal completion will take place. On completion day, once our solicitor has confirmed receipt of your funds, we will hand over your keys and welcome you to your new Ascot home.
